After eleven years as a Career Counselor for St. John’s University in New York, working with people in career and life transition, Stefanie started her own business as a Career and Life Coach. In her former career she has helped many people through the discovery process of who they are, what they want and how to obtain it. She now works with people, both individually and in groups, who are seeking greater fulfillment in their careers and lives. People who are on the “threshold” between the comfort of the life they have now and the excitement of the life they know is possible! Stefanie provides support, motivation, encouragement, accountability and strategies to her clients as they move forward – challenging people to think, be and do more than they ever thought possible. In August 2006, Stefanie will be launching her new Leaving Comfort for Possibility Program. This is interactive, experiential learning, through a 5-step process, for those who are tired of waiting for that elusive "someday…" and are truly ready to start living the life they want, today! By the end of this program, participants will discover what boosts and drains their energy; have greater clarity of what they need, value and want in their life, a vision of their future; uncover which possibilities they are ready to explore; learn what would propel them forward toward possibility, and what keeps them stuck in comfort; and strategize a plan of action to take their life in a new direction. Stefanie is certified as a life coach through the Institute for Life Coach Training and has a Masters Degree in Counseling and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. She is a member of the International Coach Federation and Coachville. She shares her life with husband Paul and cat, Cookie in Apex, North Carolina.
